NIR Technology Systems is a young high technology company which designs, manufactures, markets and sells a range of Near Infrared Transmission (NIT) analysers. These analysers are used to measure organic compounds in synthetic and natural products, such as, food, grains, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
Stadvis Pty Ltd, owned by Phillip and Janet Clancy, trades as NIR Technology Systems. Stadvis was founded in 1988 and was originally involved in providing marketing and promotion to the scientific and industrial instrument supply industry. In 1997, Stadvis set up NIR Technology Australia with the intention of developing a range of Near Infrared Analysers which would be marketed and sold through another company. In July 2000 Stadvis assumed total responsibility for development, manufacturing, sales and marketing under the trading name of NIR Technology systems.
By 2002, NIR Technology Systems had developed a range of 14 products and an excellent software suite, and had achieved a significant level of sales both domestically and internationally. In 2005/06 year, exports were running at approximately 70% of total revenues.

In 2008, NIR Technology Systems gained a National Measurement Institute Pattern approval for the Cropscan 2000B NIT Analyser. In 2009, this approval was extended to cover the New Cropscan 1000B Whole Grain Analyser. With the NMI Certification, the Cropscan range became an attractive instrument for the grain handling market in Australia, as well as gaining excellent success in Japan and Italy. The company also has had success in the measurement of olives in Australia, Spain, Italy and Greece. In 2009 the company received major orders for Kurdistan, Romania and Mongolia, resulting in a growth of over 80% for 2008/09.

Stadvis operates from a new facility in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Combining a first class product development and manufacturing facility along with sales, marketing and administration, this facility will allow Stadvis to continue to grow at an expect 25%+ p.a. for many years.
