2000 Tablet Analyser
The Series 2000 Tablet Analyser is a
powerful diode array NIT spectrometer designed to measure transmission spectra
through solid tablets, granulated materials and powders.
Using a selection of sampling devices, the Series 2000 Tablet
Analyser can be used to analyse materials and finished products throughout the
production process. By pouring whole tablets into a 28mm wide Granular Cell,
measurements of the coating thickness on the tablets can be made. By using a
5mm pathlength Powder Cell, the milled powder can be measured for moisture,
composition, consistency and particle size. Using the unique Whole Tablet Cell,
up to 10 tablets can be analysed sequentially by passing light straight through
the tablet and thereby measuring Tablet Uniformity. A longer Whole Tablet Cell
can be used to analyse even more tablets at one time.
