The NIT-38 Polymer Analyser is a powerful NIR spectrophotometer suitable for the analysis of hydroxyl number and carboxyl number,moisture and other parameters and components of polymers and plastics using NIR transmission spectra.


The NIT-38 polymer Analyser measures the amount of ligt absorbed by the sample across the NIR spectrum from 720-1100nm.Light is passed through a sample of material. The chemical components absorb NIR energy at specific frequencies.The amount of light obsorbed at each frequency is used by the instrument's computer to measure the concentration of the component.


For powdered or granular materials, eg,plastic pellets or powers,the NIT-38 Polymer Analyser uses a Sample Transport Module(STM) that moves the sample cell up and down through the light beam.up to 15 separate measurements can be made in less than 1 minute and the average of the measurements displayed on the screen.The STM accepts samples cells for granules,pastes and slurries,liquids and powders.
